Everybody loves a Top 10 list…
But in honor of our national pastime, a Top 9 list seems more fitting for Quickball.
In Quickball — literally “Quick Baseball” or “Quick Softball” — there are dozens of reasons why you should join a team or start your own league. In no particular order, here are the top 9:
DIAMOND SMART: Quickball is the ‘Gold Standard’ for teaching Entry Level Baseball & Softball fundamentals. Sound diamond training combined with fast-paced play and inclusive game structure, Quickball covers all of the bases.
ALL-TERRAIN: Grass, Turf, Dirt, Hardwood, you name it. Quickball fields set up in minutes — Any surface, anywhere!
VETTED BY THE BEST: MLB, Ripken Sr. Foundation, Babe Ruth League, Little League, RBI, Boys-&-Girls Clubs of America, NRPA, etc…Just a few of the baseball/softball organizations that regularly offer Quickball Leagues, Tournaments and/or Special Events.
FOR TODAY’S KIDS: Quickball is fast-paced and inclusive for ALL kids. Regardless of age, size or skill level, anyone can contribute and compete in Quickball. There are three divisions — Entry Level, Advanced and Competitive — that cover all ages and abilities.
CO-ED OPTIONAL: Boys & Girls can safely compete in the same game, or in separate divisions.
INEXPENSIVE TO PLAY: No personal equipment is required. Balls and bats are always provided and gloves are optional.
EASY TO COACH: Quickball Curriculum Guides make it simple for anyone to run a practice or coach a team. For volunteer-based leagues looking to boost their membership, this is also very helpful in the recruitment of new managers and coaches.
VOLUNTEER FRIENDLY: It’s also easy to Volunteer. Parents and Family members are always encouraged to participate in an instructional environment, especially on the Entry and Advanced Levels.
